Our Vision
Found Space Theatre exists to provide high-quality, inclusive theatre education for children and teens in a creative space where every student can discover confidence and belonging. We believe the performing arts are not a luxury, but rather are a vital tool for expression, learning, and building resilient young people.
Why We're Starting
Found Space Theatre is the result of a longtime dream that has been growing quietly for years. As a theatre teacher and director, I’ve seen how transformational theatre can be.
After years of directing youth plays in our community, I’m now building something permanent and purpose-driven: a theatre program where every student belongs and every story matters.
What We Believe
As we build Found Space Theatre, these values are guiding every decision:
• Belonging – We will create an environment where every child feels welcome and seen.
• Creativity – We want students to explore bold ideas and express their individuality.
• Inclusion – Our programming will be designed to serve children of all abilities, including those with developmental disabilities.
• Growth – We aim to help young people grow in confidence, collaboration, and resilience.
• Joy – Theatre should be magical, meaningful, and fun—for everyone involved.
What Makes Us Different
Found Space Theatre will:
• Prioritize inclusion, with specific support for students with disabilities.
• Create theatre classes and productions that welcome beginners and seasoned performers alike.
• Focus on community, connection, and confidence, not just competition or talent.
• Operate as a nonprofit with a mission-first model, keeping access affordable for families.
• Offer sensory-friendly performances and adaptive opportunities for participation.
